What to expect?
Coming to a church for the first time can be a stressful situation. So we have put this little guide together for you, so you can know what to expect.
How to dress
Come as you are! We have people wearing everything from blue jeans to even the occasional suit! So make sure you join us in our services in whatever you are comfortable wearing.
Parking
We have parking available on all sides of our church campus. The largest parking lot we have faces US 79 and is accessible off of San Gabriel. We also have street parking as well as grass parking available.
Where to Go
If you arrive at 9:30 AM for Sunday school you will be greeted and pointed in the right direction. If you are here for the morning worship service at 10:30 AM. Enter the Sanctuary and grab a spot!
Bulletin Guest Card
When you enter be sure to grab a bulletin. It will let you know what is going on at FBC in the coming weeks. Also, there is a perforated tear-off that we would love for you to fill out and drop in the offering plate when it comes by. This lets us know more about you and gives us a chance to follow up with you about your visit.
Worship Style
Our worship service is a blend of traditional hymns and modern praise and worship music. You will see guitars, drums, organ, and piano being played each week (along with other instruments). Our focus in song is not on styles or preferences, rather we are focused on who we are worshipping.
The Message
All our sermons at FBC are designed to equip you to live a life that is more fulfilling in Christ. You will be engaged and challenged through expository preaching. Typically this means a series of messages from a book of the Bible. Take a listen to some of our recent messages to get a feel for Pastor Matt's style.
What We Believe
We believe the Holy Bible is the Word of God and submit to its authority in all matters of faith and practice. Our understanding of its truths is essentially in accord with the Baptist Faith and Message (1963)
